A voyage from my "fly pad" to Urban Fare in search of a wine bottle opener, only to find they carried no such tool. Goes along with HOWTO: Eat Waffles Like An American In Canada between steps 4 and 5.

The Flicker Set

** Update **
It looks like a monitor may possibly be available, now what we need is transportation for the thing. Who's up for an adventure?
So, world, I brought a big fat linux server here from San Jose when I moved, however, moments before I left I recompiled the kernel and left it in a state of non-functionality. So I am faced with a reformatting, or at the very least a rekernelling.
Normally, I would just throw in the Gentoo CD and turn on sshd, but I need to connect to a wireless network on an unknown wireless PCI card, and it just won't be that fun trying to configure that blind.
Here's the part where you come in.
You are: kind, monitor-bearing, do-gooder
I am: jovial, monitor-needing, geek
We are: meeting for lunch before you loan me your monitor for a day to get things running, your continued attendance for that day is optional but facilitates your driving your monitor back to your residence
