In British Columbia, I think rain is an emotion.
It changes everything when it rains but I think it can often reflect how the people in the province are feeling at any given time.
Take for example the long day yesterday. Victoria had a day of action and it rained. 15000 or so people converged in the steps of the legislature and it rained. The emotion attached to it was anticipation. Along with anger and frustration there was defiance and a sense of victory. With so much of Victoria closed and the people voicing the concerns of the government, their most certainly was determination and resolve. A different emotional set would be achieved if it was sunny and warm.
Today the sun is out and on line there still is all the emotions but it is muted slightly with quiet and contemplative calm. That is what sunny skys bring.
Tomorrow will be another day...Another set of feelings, of thoughts and outcomes.

On the line I will Stand;
With a sign in my hand;
I will refine and expand;
align my thoughts, demand;
Justice, a line in the sand;
Our rights panned;
Freedoms corrupt to understand;
Liberty for workers, a united stand.

So if you haven't seen this movie...here is the skinny. No spoilers...
Go with people you love. <-- this way you will feel supported in the anger and ill feeling you will get when watching.
or
Go by yourself <-- alternatively you will feel resentment like none other.
I don't endorse Mr. Moore but he presents a perspective that many of us never thought to look. Go see this with a completely opened mind and you will make new judgments all throughout the movie. Enjoy the tiny bits of information and revel in the fact that We ARE Canadians.
Much like "Bowling4Columbine" Moore presents a subliminal fact that being American is wrong! Being Canadian is the way to go.

On a translink rant...
Did You know that in the past they would advertise What "Peak Time" is. They used to then say its not peak time and you would only have to pay one fare...$2.00. Now they have changed all the signage to not advertise the peak time and if you over pay they don't tell you. They just absorb your overpayment. If that is not a money grab I don't know what is.
