Whether sitting around a cafe, hiking up the Grind, watching a movie or drifting lazily down a river, the volunteer-run CORE Vancouver (Community of Recreational Entertainment) is a community that embodies the spirit of "eat, drink and be merry"!
Started by Jamie and James when they moved to Vancouver in December 2005 as a fun way to meet people, the CORE is an adult-oriented multicultural group, with most members ranging between the ages of 20 and 40.
Many have traveled, are traveling, or have recently moved to the Lower Mainland; others have lived here for years and just want to meet new people.
We do all kinds of activities, weekend Whistler trips, camping, wine and cheese events, restaurants etc etc.
