Article: Relationships/Infidelity
The following article was recently published in 24 Hours Vancouver. It represents our first foray into journalism. We hope you enjoy.
No excuses for all that
Infidelity: an ugly beast that most people must deal with.
Let us make something perfectly clear: nobody cheats by accident. It is never a mistake. Can you imagine? "Honey, I was walking down the street and I tripped and next thing you know I was having sex. It was an accident."
Tripping is an accident, cheating is ... CHEATING. It is that cut and dried.
Scenario 1 plays out sort of like this: you have struck up a bit of relationship with someone at work. Every day is filled with flirting. The two of you anticipate the day when you will finally get to consummate your friendship.
One problem: She has a boyfriend. Well, it is not really a problem. You must ask yourself two simple questions: do you actually like this person and can you in all honesty imagine having a relationship with her?

Question 10
Dear Seed:
My name is Dark Angel, also known as L T - my pen name. (names have been changed)
First, I am a Witch, I have a great deal of Creativity, my second manuscript has just been sent to a Publisher. I met a lady about two years ago, she is Gemini-Rabbit, I am Pieces-Boar, I have been told sometimes literally. However, my lady friend and I are no longer seeing each other, she cannot focus well. I sometimes focus too well, we have a great deal in common, yet, she is always busy with other things. I mentioned my manuscript. It had taken me fifteen years to ready it for publishing.

This is a continuation of the previous post. I am starting to realize that listening to the news is an incredibly depressing event. In the original story I spoke of the oil crisis facing the world today. I also mentioned that China is getting thirsty.
I spoke of G.W. and his plea to America to conserve. Hmmm. It made me think. If we are out, why conserve? What’s the point? Who are we conserving for? The rich? Are we going to be rescued? Is someone going to come get us off of the Island?
I realize that conservation may just buy us some time until we find the next source of energy that we can exploit to levels of exhaustion. And then, shower rinse and repeat until the end of time.
Why the update.
Well, on May 31st, 2005, G.W.B held another news conference. Once again he stressed the oil crisis and the need to conserve.
He also mentioned KAFTA and the fact that products coming into the States from poverty stricken Central America are free of tariffs, whereas, American products going the other way are met with high tariffs. He indicated it was imperative to remove the tariffs, as it would open up a world of 44 million consumers for American products. He said this with no regard for the impact this would have on the people of those nations. He just sees consumers.
He also mentioned Iran and North Korea. He said he was working with 5 major countries to encourage these countries to stop their quest for Nuclear Arms. What does ‘encourage’ mean?

I have been formulating this story for a long time now. IN MY HEAD! I have approached it from a vast variety of angles, however up till today, Thursday April 28th 2005, I was not sure which angle was really the appropriate one to take. It then smacked me directly, full on, in the face. We may be screwed. I must clarify for a second. I hope not. I wish I was stupid. I may be. I’m probably not. I am not quite ready to dawn Sandwich Boards as fashion statement. But…..
You see gas prices have been sky rocketing threatening all aspects of our world. We are a fossil fueled, oil based world, everything about our lifestyles revolve around oil. Our food (both cooking and delivery), transportation, heating (vitally important in the northern climes) and our economic futures and quite frankly our survival as a species. Ironic as it may be the day after the pomp and pageantry involved in unveiling the new Airbus 380, seating available for over 880 or 4oo Americans, unless it has been in the works for a long time now our primary fuel source may be nearing the exhaustion level.

Owners & Players of the NHL. Congratulations - job well done! The season is now on the verge cancellation. Who do we blame? Personally, I don’t care. I know not caring is a sign of my lack of intelligence. It must be.
