Gilo Hyte stands alone in front of the great village of Damelahamid and welcomes the approaching canoes with a dance. Consumed by the nax nokxs, she throws the spirit and the guests respond in song. Gilo Hyte transforms time and space, bridging the ancient with a living tradition.
