Blog Basics Workshop

OUR NEXT CLASS RUNS Saturday, May 17th

What: a hands-on learn to blog workshop

When: 10-2 Saturday, May 17th

Where: Tradeworks Training Society, Downtown Vancouver

Why: Get a blog up and running in one day with personal instruction in small classes. This workshop covers blog basics like:

* what a blog can and can’t do for you
* how to post podcasts, video, audio, images, and text in your blog
* basic copyright law and accepted practices
* solving basic technical problems, where to find help
* privacy and the internet

Who: raincoaster media ltd, in partnership with Tradeworks Training Society.

How(much)? $125 tuition, or $100 in combination with any other half-day class. Please pre-register to ensure your reservation.

With class size limited to 8, this will be a program of personalized, hands-on learning. During the class you will create your own blog, tweak the design, publish your first few posts, add a YouTube video, and even some music. You will leave with a functional, personalized blog and the skills you need to run it.

Addiction Services Education Series

The Addiction Services, Public Education Series, is a community service of Vancouver Coastal Health. This program is free and open to anyone who is interested in addiction, alcohol and other drugs.
There are 6 sessions, 1) what is addiction, 2) drugs and the body, 3) recovery, 4) family issues, 5) helping others, 6) drugs in our society-a public health approach to drug control. Participants who complete all six sessions will receive a certificate upon completion. This ongoing program occurs every Friday morning from 9:30-11:30 on drop-in basis, no registration is required. WOMEN'S CARDIO KICKBOXING BOOTCAMP

Presented by Raz Chan Fitness and Mobile Personal Training

Start your summer with a new workout - experience our Women's Cardio Kickboxing Bootcamp and get a toned body in time for beach weather!

Join us three times a week for 4 weeks for our total body workout with boxing drills, core ab exercises, interval training, and more! Never the same workout twice with our programming and lots of variety to keep all fitness levels challenged.

LOCATIONS & SCHEDULE
All Bootcamps are 3x/week (12 sessions). Due to the format of our Bootcamp, we do not offer drop-in rates or switching of class sessions - please review our registration policy under our FAQs section online. Participants are required to come to clas with handwraps and cardio boxing gloves.

*Note: All Saturday classes take place at 2875 St. Georges St. (near Fraser & Kingsway).
