Vancouver Corners: The Swiss Bakery Rules!

Tucked away on 3rd Avenue right off of Main Street is the Swiss Bakery. This place is a family run business and the bread is awesome. It is too bad it is so hidden! I am sure word of mouth can't hurt from UrbanVancouver.com - go check it out!

Vancouver Corners: The Michel Blais Gallery

The Michel Blais Gallery on Howe Street is owned by this nice man who also owns Frenchies Restaurant out on East Hastings. He has an art gallery in the basement of his restaurant and he also opened this gallery.

Vancouver Corners: The Repent Sinner's Other Message

Repent Sinner is someone who has been placing stickers or pieces of coloured paper around Vancouver for what seems like the last million years. Their handy-work is everywhere. I have seen these new ones around for the last year or so with the message "Accept Christ".

I see a lot of these in my little neck of the world (near Main and 2nd), so, I suspect this person lives nearby since most of the "repent sinner" and "accept christ" paper is very new. But, who knows. The handwriting is the same.
