Snowflake Bed
Red Alder, Maple. Hand rubbed oil/varnish finish with light walnut

The bed and blanket box were a surprise engagement gift. The headboard and chest lid have inlaid snowflakes, a favourite symbol of the bride-to-be's. I worked closely with the client to come up with the bed design.
We decided to give the suggestion of an airy, sleigh bed (hence the slats and curved posts) while keeping the footboard low enough to hang feet over. The warm tones of the bed and pale snowflakes are an especially nice touch.
The best new bookstore in the world. But, I might just be biased.
This is a great little ticket booth that sells tickets to performances around Vancouver for half price on the day of the show. It is a great deal and worth checking out.
