Citroen C4 Transformer Commercial Filmed In Vancouver?

Adrian sent me a link to the Citroen C4 Transformer commercial. A quick search got me an article on the commercial, about how the dance moves were choreographed by Justin Timberlake’s choreographer, Marty Kudelka, and Vancouver-based The Embassy Visual Effects did post-production. Do my eyes deceive me, or is that Harbour Centre, the BC Hydro Building, and mountains and ocean (i.e. downtown Vancouver) I see in the background?
Embassy Visual Effects has posted a higher quality version of the commercial.
The C-4 commercial is the best ad ever but after you watch it a couple of times, it kinda gets lame.I'm sorry to say that but it's true.
You are right,.. the legs do move trough each others and more then one time. although the commercial is indeed one of the best I have seen, and hope that the movie will be as good. One thing must be learned from this; during motion capture, the actor should have a suit on, in the right dimension as the model to eliminate annoying flaws that most likely gave the animator quit a hard time to figure out how to fix it after the motion capture as been download to the computer.
Hey there... wow this has been the best advertisement i've seen this year, i might be a lilo late on that but this is the first time I've seen this. I'm thinking about doing something like this for my demo reel, maybe I'll hold on the dancing part but the transforming part of it will do. This ad is superb!!!! Theres one thing i have to point out though... about 17 seconds into the commercial, the part where the transformer criscrossed his legs. Is it me or is it that the left leg penetrates right throught the right leg. Go frame by frame, and you'll see what I mean... Dont get me wrong.. haha I love that commercial!!!!
The background shows the BC Hydro building in downtown vancouver. The round building is Habour Center.
Regarding the location of the commercial - the pinkish coloured building in the background on the right looks like a hotel in NIagara Falls (Ramada Renaissance I think) and the tower to the left of that, looks like the Skylon Tower. I found this website while trying to find out where the background is from as I am convinced those two buildings are from Niagara Falls.

the advert is brilliant and the transformation is awsome it has revolutionised the adverting market and the coreography is by far the best and i love you do do sequels of the ad and my dream is you to make an miniture version of the robot and merchantdise so you can out do the crazy frog and i love to see other car firms to follow the example and i would like and picture of the robot to frame and to put it on my wall.frankie smales

Hats off to Spy Films for pulling this one off. I went to their website and they've done a lot of other cool stuff to.
Someone did a remake of this and substituted a Citroen 2CV, now thats clever and in my opinion just as technically brilliant.
