Please.. This is driving me insane. Can anyone please tell me the actual
name of the Christmas song that has the following lyrics.
"They say there'll be snow at Christmas"
"They say there'll be Peace on Earth"
''....(lots of interesting lyrics but I don't understand them,
sounds like they're saying something about Heaven and Hell).."
"At Christmas, we (you) get what we (you) deserve!"
It sounds like there are at least 2-3 people singing (or at least it has an
overproduced "Boston" sound)..

The video for this was filmed in the desert in Jerusalem back in the mid 70s. Both poignant and "arty".

the first time I heard this song My eyes bugged out of my head...wow it actually is kinda uplifting to hear a christmas song with meaningfull word
The song is by the British singer Greg Lake and is called "I Believe in Father Christmas." It appeared in the British charts in December 1975 and reached number 2. It reappeared in December 1982 and again the same month the following year, respectively reaching 72 and 65.
In the meantime, Greg Lake featured in Emerson, Lake and Palmer's "Fanfare for the Common Man" which reached number 2 in June 1977.
