Pane e Formaggio Announces Save The Children Tsunami Relief Charity Event
Vancouver, BC Jan 12, 2005 Local Artisan Bread and Cheese Shop Donates 100% of Bread Sales for Tsunami Victims Vancouver, BC - January 11, 2005 - Pane e Formaggio, a locally owned and operated business, located at 4532 West 10th Ave. Vancouver and 2417 Marine Drive in West Vancouver, is donating 100% of bread sale revenues generated on Saturday, January 15th, to the Save the Children Tsunami Relief Fund. Along with the rest of the world, the staff at Pane e Formaggio, have been following the devastation of the tsunami in south and south-eastern Asia and have been motivated to do as much as they can to help the children survivors of the disaster. "Being a family oriented business, we feel that we need to do as much as possible to help the young survivors and their families to regain some form of normality after so much destruction and devastation. We all urgently need to extend our family circle globally and help those affected by this disaster. The Canadian government will match all funds raised by Save the Children Canada so the more money we raise, the bigger the difference we all can make in these young lives."
