Air India Trial verdict coverage is generic - Blogging Metronews aka Metro Vancouver Part 2

Very disappointed in Metronews aka Metro Vancouver's coverage of the Air India Trial verdict yesterday.
This is largely a lower mainland BC story, yet page 5 is devoted to generic news from the Toronto Star wire service with interviews of Toronto Indo-Canadian youth and not very insightful text like "A day after Josephson's decision ended one of Canada's longest and most complex criminal trials, anger and frustration remained among Lower Mainland Indo-Canadians".
Since Metronews is supposed to be for the youth and under 35 market in Vancouver, why not interview some youths and under 35 people in Vancouver and the BC lower mainland who are Indo-Canadian and of other heritages? Why not print some nuanced critical thinking from the under 35 set as well as staff writers instead of "anybody could have written that from a news wire" "news"?
