Roland's Vancouver Morning Part 2 - Why is BC so polarized?

There seems to be no middle ground in BC. Where is the fine art of pragmatically getting things done? I've been here since 1998 and I really think we should move past the labels of left and right and do the right thing and stop moving from one election to the next between the "Liberals" and the "NDP" (in quotes because neither party is really what they claim they are).
