Online Presence / Instant Messenging

I thought it was interesting that the following site:
has a list of of people online who offer assistance. Would it be a good idea for Urban Vancouver to offer some sort of similar aggregator of volunteers that you can IM for help?

That's a good idea, Ian. My profile lists all my IM accounts, and I would certainly be happy to walk people through some of the many features available here. Roland and Richard also have IM accounts listed in their profiles. And there is going to be a member directory which makes it easier to look at these things as well.
Our next step with Urban Vancouver is to have an info session for bloggers who might like to contribute, and then to teach everyone and anyone how to use this crazy online publishing stuff.
