Jim Green to Run for Mayor of Vancouver?

Jim Green to Run for Mayor of Vancouver?

By Richard Eriksson on July 13, 2005 - 3:47pm

After hearing through the grapevine—since I don't read the mainstream press that much anymore—that councillor Jim Green was considering running for mayor of Vancouver, I setup a PubSub feed that looked for references of him, making it specific to Vancouver (since there might be other Jim Green's out there, but I figured there weren't a lot of famous ones in Vancouver). Also I added a Yahoo! News search for Jim Green specific to Vancouver. Through those two sources, you'll probably be among the most up-to-date on his attempt to fill Larry Campbell's shoes.

I knew jim years ago and thought he was an inteligent man who was sensitive to the needs of people who were less fortunate than others. He has integrity and...a great sense of humor

I wonder?
I've been hoping for this gag. I once got asked by Beverly Sinclair (when on the Straight) If I was called Grant Buday once.
Would this confuse the voters; I know Buchanan got 100 votes off of me and my call for a recount never followed.
Seriously, I and Adam Yoshida are the only two Candidates I am sure of that aren't rumours.

Best,
