One Book One Vancouver Events for Summer 2005

Todd Wong has a listing of some of the events for One Book One Vancouver this summer. He points to the One Book One Vancouver events listing, which notes Joy Kogawa's appearances at libraries around Vancouver promoting Naomi's Road, a children's book based on her Obasan. The events page at VPL has locations and times of discussions of Obasan as well as some other events related to Japanese-Canadian culture in the Lower Mainland, including a showing at the Central Branch on August 11th of Sleeping Tigers: The Asahi Baseball Story, a documentary of a Japanese baseball team in Vancouver.
