More Urban Vancouver-like websites please

As long as Beyond Robson has an RSS feed, we welcome our Toronto based overlords (according to Darren, the domain is registered from a Toronto based entity) :-) ! Oh and the by the way, on Urban Vancouver, you can blog for free with your free account NOW (don't have to wait until August) and soon podcast and videoblog for free as well (you can attach audio and video files for free now and they will automatically turn into videoblog and podcasts when we upgrade)!

From Beyond Robson - the site for Vancouver (via Darren Barefoot).:

Looking to get in on the ground floor of the hottest new web site to hit
Vancouver? In early August, Beyond Robson, a blog about Vancouver
culture will launch and we're looking for bloggers to join the team. If
you're passionate and plugged-in to Vancouver culture and can blog up to
5-7 times a week about subjects like music, film, fashion, the arts,
food/restaurants, bars/clubs/nightlife, sports and outdoors, or city
issues and politics then we want to hear from you!

Blog posts can be anywhere from two sentences to 2000 words or
more... it's totally up to you.

This is a part-time "job" (think a few hours a week) and is a highly
unstructured environment. There is no "office". You simply write from
wherever you have a computer and an internet connection. What else do
you need? A digital camera will help along with a program like
photoshop that will help you edit the photos you take? Writing
experience (or at least skill) is also a must.

Not much of a writer? We're also looking for people who can create
podcasts (audio content) as well as video. If you're interested in
that, you must have your own audio recording and/or video equipment.

Who are we? This is a totally grassroots initiative. Send us an email
and we'll tell you more about it.

In your email, please state what you'd like to blog about (music, film,
fashion etc.)
