Designer Bus Shelter

I've seen pretty interesting architecture in downtown Vancouver since I arrived. This even extends to bus shelters! Gone are the grubby, soggy, graffiti covered shelters of old, in come the designery, artistic statements of a 21st Century Bus Shelter. Trouble is I'm not actually sure it IS a bus shelter ....

[Marinaside Crescent]

I love walking along the Seawall, and this part of Yaletown along False Creek is especially lively. Yes, it's a more ca-ching neighbourhood, so it can afford to have so much public art on display. It's worth it to make the trek by any means to invade for a day and see Vancouver along the waterway. It's so unique and metropolitan, yet as you survey the whole expanse, from Science World out to Stanley Park, you might be struck with the same awe and admiration that was experienced by the first mariners and explorers that came into Vancouver in the late 19th century.
