Starting to Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Following in Ray's spirit of holiday cheer, I thought I'd list some of the great things I love about Vancouver in December.
Bright Nights in Stanley Park - ride the train with your kids and enjoy a hot chocoloate afterwards. Monies raise will go to the Burn Fund.
See the Trees at Hotel Vancouver, underneath the Pan Pacific Hotel, at Ambleside in West Vancouver.
Then there are the beautiful lights on St. Paul’s hospital and the Whistler/Blackbomb village are stunning.
I always do high tea at the Wedgewood Hotel with my Mother and the Sutton Place Chocolate Buffet with the girls. Other good tea places are Secret Garden in Kerrisdale and The Urban Tea Merchant in Park Royal, West Van.
November 19th Heritage Christmas starts at Burnaby Village.
VanDusen Garden's Festival of Lights runs Friday, December 9 - 31 from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (Closed on Dec. 25). 5251 Oak Street (at West 37th Avenue). Free Parking available and children under six are free. Advance tickets are available ($8 and under) at www.festivalboxoffice.com, or call 604-257-0366. VanDusen Gardens.
Volunteer at the Food Bank, Salvation Army or the Triage Centre for their Christmas Hampers and dinners this year.
I am sure there are lots more that I am forgetting so please add your own to the list and Happy Holidays!
