I know Vancouver is a city of countless languages and cultures. However, on seeing this I raced home to check all my immigration papers to see if I had missed something? Maybe if I don't complete a test after a few months I won't be allowed to speak to anyone ...
Our French-speaking cousins back east seem to think that language is the defining characteristic of a nation. Perhaps this is a profound yet subtle effort by the federal government to promote national unity. Anyone know if this institute is getting sponsorship dollars?
