Oh Canada?

I love Canada. I love British Columbia. I love Alberta, Saskatchewan………..
Mostly, I love Vancouver. It is the greatest city in the world - in the greatest country in the world.
Sure, Canada has growing pains: drugs, guns, poverty, healthcare, political corruption and the challenge of keeping our own unique identity.
We’re not part of the United States and though they are great neighbors, I feel it is important to keep them as just that: neighbors.
That is why I feel this election is so vitally important to our future. In today’s world, that in a sense, is fighting for survival and a new identity, we need to stand up and shout out what is important to us individually, regionally, nationally and globally. We need to be proud of who we are and the fact that we are a cultural melting-pot and a great friend to most nations on the planet.
We need to stand up and shout: “We’re Canadians and we’re proud of it.
