Hello everyone!
At Campoverde, Valentine's week is about friendship and being thoughtful. What better way to further the pursuit of kindness than to make new friends, bond with the ones we already have and build community? Please join us at Campoverde this week as we celebrate the good fortune of having great people to spend our time with. And Happy Valentine's Day to you from all of the Campo Crew!

Thanks to all of the people who came out and filled the club with love and friendship in support of Chantal at the Daisy Party on Friday night. Also, a big thanks to Liz and Paul for another outstanding social mixer. We are so lucky to have the opportunity to meet such wonderful and interesting people!
Here is what we have in store for you during Valentine's week:
Tuesday 14 February: Valentine's Day Massages hosted by Saje
Natural Wellness. Drop in to the club after 7pm for strawberries dipped in chocolate and a complimentary Saje chair massage.
Members: no charge. Friends: $20
Wednesday 15 February: Cocktail Mixer in Red. Join us for some socialising...dressed in RED!
Thursday 16 February: 6pm to 9pm: Jeffrey Ryan from the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra visits Campo to explain his role as a'Composer- in-Residence'. He will also talk about the upcoming World Premiere VSO performance of his first Symphony Composition 'Fugitive Colours'. It's not often you have the opportunity to meet a composer with his varied compositional experience, and needless to say writing a Symphony is a challenge! We will be giving away two Symphony tickets to a lucky winner. Members: no charge. Friends: $20
9pm onwards: Our very favourite Englishman with the large smile
celebrates the turning of another year. DCW's birthday bash. Please join us to wish David all the best. Friends are welcome.
Friday 17 February: Campoverde Supperclub with April Pringle. This week's menu will be heartwarming. Please RSVP tosupperclub@campoverde.ca to reserve your seat at our table.
Saturday 18 February: Campo's 4th Annual "Wear What You Wear To Bed UnValentine's Day Party". Whatever you do, don't miss this one. It is the most hilarious event of the year. Everyone must wear something that they could sleep in, a bathrobe at the very least! Members: no charge. Friends: $25
Campo Wine Tasters evening on Wednesday 22 February. You do not have to be a wine connoisseur to attend this event, you just have to have the desire to learn to enjoy wine in wonderful new and interesting ways. Knowing the history of a wine can provide that extra element of enjoyment, and make you look like a star in front of your next group of dinner guests.... or your next hot date. We will be profiling wines from Italy, to celebrate the XX Torino Olympics taking place as we speak. 8:00 to 10:00pm (please be on time as we will have a sommelier guiding us through our tasting) Members: $30 Friends: $50. All-Women's Snowboarding Lessons! Three fun filled nights of snowboarding at Cypress Mountain. After two amazing hours of shredding the mountain, enjoy relaxing social time munching on nachos and sipping wine. Contact Jodi at Canadian Outdoor Adventures (see Campo Associates page) for details. Get on board for our first Campoverde Travel Club cruise. Angela Susi from Freestyle Holidays and her cohort from Carnival Cruises will be at the club on Wednesday March 1st to tell us all about the 'MEXICAN RIVIERA CRUISE' we've got planned for Nov. 12th.
