Oscar Night Crave Party

The countdown is on to join the fun at Vancouver’s great Oscar night party! Girl friends will be wearing PJs and fluffy slippers while they watch the stars at Vancouver’s Crave Party on Sunday, March 5. The silver screen at the Caprice Night Club, 965 Granville Street, will come alive at 5 p.m. and the fun will continue to 9 p.m., when the final Academy Award is handed out. Party-goers will walk down the red carpet to enjoy finger food and a variety of events. Vendor booths will be set up for shopping pleasure, and drinks will be available from the glitzy bar. While the Oscar nominees are sitting on the edge of their seats in Hollywood, Vancouver gals can book the pampering they crave: massages, manicures and a variety of spa treatments. Oscar Night offers the unique opportunity for gals to enjoy the services of many of the city’s premier spas, all under one roof. Treatments can be booked with therapists and specialists from Le Petit Spa, Pamper Your Soul. Glamour by Gwen and Skindulgence Urban Retreat will be on hand, and Jes Henderson will be happy to do make-up consultations. For those who want to do a little shopping, Bitchin Gear will be offering a range of fun and funky clothing, Valerie Hand will be displaying jewellery, and Raleigh Fashions will be bringing handbags and accessories. Specialty Gourmet, Urban Pulse and Yummy Mummy will help to fill the take-home baggies, or offer door prizes. In honour of the occasion, we’ll be shining a spotlight on the Cinderella Project, which makes graduation night special for young gals and fellas in need. On their behalf we’ll be accepting donations of prom dresses, shoes or accessories, so this is the night to pamper someone else, and then be pampered.
