MUSIC VIDEO DIRECTING WORKSHOP
As part of the WIFVV DIRECTORS WORKSHOP SERIES
Saturday, March 25, 2006 at the Arbutus Club
Women in Film and Video Vancouver is offering an intensive one day workshop titled "How to Make a Music Video That Rocks." Music videos are an excellent way to add to your reels and get more experience in the film industry. In one day, learn what it takes to make a music video!
Topics for the workshop include:
1. Funding a music video.
2. Writing a treatment for an artist or band
3. The Pre-production process
4. Working with the artist and their management team
5. Storyboarding your concept
6. Art Direction...
7. The shoot day... From the perspective of the director, the producer & the cinematographer.
8. The post production process
9. The Editing process
10. Getting music video on television... Sending the finished product out to Much Music, Muchmoremusic, MTV, CMT, etc.
