Biggest & Best St. Paddy's Night Out!
By Ralba on March 11, 2006 - 10:31am
This year, nowhere in Vancouver will there be more reason to celebrate on this festive day than CelticFest's Biggest & Best St. Paddy's Night Out at the Commodore Ballroom - and when we say that, we're not just whistling Danny Boy!
No other place offers such a tremendous variety of entertainment - for four and a half hours, literally non-stop, from 8:30 pm to 1 am. Simply to fit everything in, the show must start just half an hour after the doors open … making this unquestionably the best St Paddy's party ticket in town. One lucky couple will even go home with free tickets for a trip to Glasgow on ZOOM Airlines… just for being there!
Host Tim Readman, with Shona Le Mottee, one of BC's finest fiddlers, will welcome the crowd with a song and weave an evening of brilliant West Coast Celtic music and pleasure. A very special guest, Irene Livingston, Leacock-award winning poet and CelticFest's own Queen of the Limerick proves you never stop being funny if you're naughty at heart. Tickets: $25. Doors open at 8pm. Show starts at 8:30pm ---*** Tickets & Information at www.celticfestvancouver.com ***
