I bet many of you noticed the latest article @ wired about researcher David Baker at the University of Washington, but did you really think about sharing your idle resources?
A lot of us, me included, get a little sucked in sometimes when it
comes to computers and the speed of our processor vrs. the speeds we
actually need, and we end up buying the best we can afford and then
only use it to its maximum potential 30% of the time. I have a last
generation Mac with dual 2.7 processors and I know this feeling all to
well. Well now you have a chance to actually use that extra horsepower,
your dual processor, dual core, or whatever and also receive some
credit for the good you are doing for the world. “The World?
