In today's Popular Content, "Blogs are everywhere" revisited...

"Blogs are everywhere" is a thread that began Nov. 10/2005,
and I just reviewed some of it again. It makes me wonder where
some of those responders are now, and why we don't hear from them.
I also wonder if Carla Johnson at the Associated Press in Chicago
ever monitors this site these days. Carla did a story on old bloggers that got us a lot of publicity, and we're very grateful.
Speaking of blogs, I tried one for a few days on Google's Blogger,
but gave up because I couldn't get the text to format properly
around images, or even on its own, for that matter. It didn't
want to break where I wanted paragraphs, and without proper formatting, as we know, reading something is more pain than pleasure. That's one of the main reasons I love Urban Vancouver.
There's never any problems with formatting, or images, or saying
what you want in the way you want it to appear. This site works
better than a lot of those others, trust me.
Blogs work best with a lively group of readers who aren't afraid
to comment on what they're seeing on here. So do us all a favour,
and either add your comments, or sign up for your own blog - it's
easy, and it's fun, and we'd like to hear from you.
Enjoy your day, Everyone.
And how did I get that custom icon, you ask...
I made it with a program from Frontbase, called
Image To Icon for Windows. There's both a trial
version and one you purchase, and it works fine.
You can scale down pictures or other images you
create, and turn them into icon files to create
your own set of icons.
