MooseHat's Vancouver Moose-ings Part 106

MooseHat's Vancouver Moose-ings Part 106

By rightantler on September 15, 2007 - 10:33am

behind you...
Moose-ing uploaded by leftantler. Taking a look through Leftantler's latest photos I had to laugh at the title. Given we were out enjoying the Winter sunshine after a terrible cycle of weather that quite defintely crept up on us from behind.

Ever since moving to Canada we seem to have had a run on what longer term resident's call 'unusual,' 'worst for years.' 'not seen it this bad before' and so on. Apparently we've had 14 storms this winter compared to zero that I remember last year. (There was rain enough for Noah though!)

I only hope the worst is behind us ...Update: Catching up on my postings ... sadly the summer weather didn't really make up for last winter!Cross posted from: The MooseHat Blog

Aren't you rushing the season just a tad ?

Well I first posted part 106 on the MooseHat Blog back in January. After a quick chat with Richard Eriksson I managed to successfully set up my blog editing tool (Ecto) so it's really easy to post to both MooseHat.com and Urban Vancouver. So I thought great, I always used to post to both when I was writing the Moose-ings in the past, although it was a manual/tedious exercise.

Now it's a lot easier and I've started writing the Moose-ings again. So I wanted to get Urban Vancouver up to date.

Of course my cunning plan is that by putting such a winter picture up now, Mother Nature will laugh and me and make it warm and sunny for weeks to come yet!

Please try to remember that I'm not only the "oldest living blogger"
but also an original smart-ass, so don't take me too seriously...
And please tell us more about that blog editing tool, "Ecto"...
What's it cost, and how does it work, and all like that...
I notice lately that quite a few of us have more than one blog
on the go, and it might be really handy to be able to write something
once and have it sent to each of them simultaneously... can it do that?
