Game One Surprises

Game One Surprises

By Richard Eriksson on April 8, 2004 - 1:29pm

Tom at Canucks Corner NHL Weblog talks about the surprises of Game One for the Canucks against the Calgary Flames last night:

Who knew that the referees would haul out the memo from two years ago and call the game like the NHL was trying to crackdown on obstruction?

Who knew that the Canuck power play - AWOL for months it seems - would report for duty?

Who knew that Trevor Linden would play perhaps the worst playoff game of his life? He didn't do anything on the offensive side of the puck, was on the ice for all three Flame goals and blew the coverage on the last one.

Later he links to In Dan We Trust, from which you can by T-shirts.
