Meanwhile, it's almost time for The Spice Girls....

While you're waiting, read this... It will take your mind off the weather, maybe.

And I'm told my same-old, same-old pictures are as boring as three-day-old cow pies, so here's your chance, kiddies - Grab your digital camera, or a chunk of paper and something to make marks on it with, and show us what you can do. If you can't bear to leave the computer, then get a Wacom tablet, like a Graphire, and then find a program with which it will do vector drawing ("What the heck's that?" you ask...)- vector drawing is a drawing program type that makes smoothly-flowing lines in a computer's drawing program, as opposed to regular ones that only do bitmap type stuff. The regular ones, like many photo-editing programs, for example, will let you draw on them, but the
lines and curves are all like steps or saw teeth. Vector drawing is smooth, just like
you'd draw on a piece of paper. It just costs more...but it's easier to send places.
Here's a very rough sample, showing hand-writing, just to give you the idea of it.
So Draw Something...

I did not take it personally your reference to me as Brucey...
It was my colleagues at work who respect one's "chosen name."
We have a young lady at work who's name is "Beth" not Elizabeth or Liz. Another is Mike not Michael. As far as Artboomer goes - you can call me Artie, or Boomer if you are so inclined.
I for one hope you do not leave this blog site...You are always entitled to your passionate remarks with me anytime. But as you can see negative comments can lead others to turn against you...a blogging side affect.
Blog sites are not about "seniority" rather an on going "open forum" offering insight, at times humorous, fun, informative, controversial, upsetting or deal with fundamental moral or ethical issues - usually saved for contempt by government/judicial decision makers. Any blog will inevitably amuse some and upset others and if you're lucky ignite them in making a "comment" - which you have 'absolutely no control over'... Don't "move on" on my account...some bloggers might label you as a defeatist which I don't think you

I'm glad we've got this all cleared up (at last!). I guess I've been
retired too many years already. I'd completely forgotten what it's
like working in groups where there are others tempted to jump into
things and "stir the pot".

To be honest, while I was reading those (overly impassioned?) remarks
from those signing as "Anonymous", I was wondering if perhaps those might
have been your own alter-egos...because, as we know, the anonymity of
the Internet is a two-edged sword, and a constant source of wonder.

Now that the dust is settling, and your friends can unload their guns
and get back to being sweet and lovable, I have to say that this was
a real eye-opener for me. I had totally forgotten something that my
long-gone maternal grandmother used to say : "Always taste your words
before putting them out there for others, because you never know how
they will be received." Boy, is THAT ever the truth!

I've always always been a shoot-from-the-hip, damn-the-torpedoes,
let's-go-get-em kind of writer, because, as you say, it gets results,
sometimes really quickly. But the danger is, of course, that I can
sometimes bite off a whole lot more than I'm prepared to chew.
Like someone's whole gang, for example. I should make myself a little
sign to hang above the monitor here, reading: "Engage Brain Before
Using Keyboard!"

Anyway, "All's well that ends well", and I'm glad this has.
Enjoy your day.

We better be careful here - we don't want people to think you and I have completely kissed and made up.... "Respect" will be the at the core for any future directed blogging. But lets not let it get in the way of future good ol' fashioned loquacious verbosity (ha, ha).

Also those "anonymous" comments were from at least one of my employees who must use - just like me - the one and only internet connected computer at our offices. Our work here is too client sensitive to be maliciously hacked by some thrill seeking criminal who has no respect for individual or corporate privacy.

Unfortunately my next blog when I find time to write it will not offer controversy. Unless the constellation Orion is offensive to some. Time for us both to move on and forward.

Hmmm... whatever makes you giggle.
