Should VANOC be promoting a taser gun free 2010 Olympic Winter Games - or can they?

(Though the Olympics are still a little over two years away. What is now and will be the perception of our international visitors, Olympians, and their coaches having been exposed through the overwhelming media resources of the seemingly lack of preparedness when RCMP use their laser guns in a take down on at times innocent victims, especially those unfamiliar with our English language only looking for police protection. The RCMP insist what happened to Robert Dziekanski was unfortunate and that the RCMP officers in question were following decreed taser procedure).

Will "any" change in RCMP taser policy effectively convince or satisfy the local or foreign media/press or the majority of Vancouverites, Canadians or the internationally community attending our 2010 Games? Let's find out.
