Music in the Morning presents
Rob Kapilow’s Family Musik
Fairy Tales
Sunday, January 13, 2008 | 3 pm
Bippity Boppity Boo! Step into an enchanted world where puppets come to life, wishes are granted with magic wands, and the restrictions of reality are replaced by limitless imagination. Skillfully combining storytelling, music, and movement, acclaimed entertainer Rob Kapilow presents a magical afternoon of fun for the whole family. With help from New York’s PickleShoe Dancers, Rob will bring new life to such classics as Stravinksy’s Petroushka (the Russian version of Pinocchio), Prokofiev’s Cinderella, and Ravel’s Tales from Mother Goose. Audience interaction is always encouraged; so don’t be surprised if you find yourself learning a hand-jive or two. More info at www.musicinthemorning.org.
