A nice summary of the current (June 2004) Storyeum show.
From Revisiting western expansion:
Guests start with a segment called "Journey Into the Past," in an enormous circular elevator, featuring music and a light show, as they are lowered to the Roots section of the museum, which depicts the geological events that shaped the terrain before humans arrived. Other sections are Ancient Trails, which tells of early civilization and nature; First People, based on oral histories of First Nations people; New Arrivals, about European explorers and traders; Gold Fever, the race for gold ore and riches; and Confederation, the vision for a unified Canada. In Building a Nation, a nearly life-size steam train arrives in Vancouver from Montreal, symbolizing the unification of the country.
The final section Passages celebrates diversity and the contributions of immigrants. Then guests exit via another round elevator to Gastown Hall. This space, which will include a gift shop and food area, will be used for cultural events and exhibits.
