The UBC Opera Ensemble is proud to announce the world premiere of an opera by Canadian composer Lloyd Burritt based on the novel Pilgrim by Timothy Findley. The Dream Healer, an opera in two acts, will feature Judith Forst, John Avey, Roelof Oostwoud, along with UBC Opera Ensemble and the UBC Symphony Orchestra all under the baton of David Agler. UBC Department of Psychiatry and the UBC Institute of Mental Health will also present The Dream Healer Symposium on Psychiatry and Mental Health, a three-part lecture/presentation series March 3-7, 2008.
