I am a senior in my 70's and retired from a long career in advertising only to "un-retire" in 2003 when I started RetiredBrains.com to connect seniors and retirees interested in continuing to work with employers interested in hiring them. The site has become a destination for older boomers, seniors and retirees and has just expanded to offer information on a wide variety of subjects of interest to older Americans.
Over the years we have regularly added content as well as links to make it as easy as possible for retirees and people planning their retirement to locate the kinds of information they seek most often.
A survey of our traffic revealed the kinds of information older Americans were having difficulty finding. There was substantial interest in locating authoritative sites providing more in depth information in areas like memory loss, arthritis pain, estate planning, senior travel, prescriptions drugs, volunteering, insurance, identity theft, etc and so I decided to add information on these subjects as well as links to sites which provide even more information.
In areas like Social Security RetiredBrains.com provides links to the areas within the Social Security site that answers specific questions so readers will not have to check the entire SS site looking for answers.
