Fido the biggest joke ever

Fido the biggest joke ever

By BC DUDE on September 10, 2008 - 3:13am

Well first of all I want you to all know that Fido is a joke.I've been a Fido customer for a bit over 5 years.
A year ago a sales rep called me and tried to sale to me a handset and plan add-ons.After sweetening me with all the extra bonuses,rebates/discounts I of course was appealed and accepted the offer.
Once the bill came I realized that I was being overcharged and the amount on the bill was never the same...the first few times I never said anything about it because it is a waste of my precious time for me to call the CSR MORONS and argue. After having enough of their dishonest way of doing business I started calling and harrassing them over the phone. They ended up not wanting me over the phone and probably flagged me as a "Hostile Customer" after my phone was disconnected for almost 4 months. After those 4 months and without even advising me, my phone was put back on service...during that disconnection, I kept on using my phone to check the time on it but also to store #'s,info, comments, quotes, password and codes.I surprisingly found an sms and couple missed calls and realized it was back on service. The only reason they did that was to reach me since that phone # used was their only contact # they had for me. They even charged me for those 4 months when my phone was disconnected. I had to negotiate with them a bill of $800 and brought it down to $285 that I payed right away. I also told them that the phone they sent me was defective and asked for another one to be sent which they actually did. I sent back the defective phone...but once the next bill came I noticed that I was charged for two handsets.I decided to call them again and found out that the box I sent was empty. Somebody from UPS had stole it and they wanted me to pay for it...as that was unfair I asked to speak to a Supervisor but they won't put me through. So I said fine,I don't care about my credit...I am an all liquid cash capital person...I also told them that they will never see a peny from me and that they are gonna lose me as a customer. They suggested I call UPS and inform them regarding the situation because UPS is to be realiable in case of loss.UPS asked me to make Fido called them. As you can see they kept on playing these back and forth games with me which illustrated the bureaucracy taking place within these corporations. After 3 more months they offered me to pay half price which I refused by all means and they finally gave up on this matter.

A week ago I called to get an Iphone just for the fun of it...I already have 3 wicked handsets that are barnone better than the 3G Iphone. Anyway, I called and placed an order but a week later (after not getting the email I was supposed to get once the Iphone was shipped) and after I never received the Iphone as promised, I decided to call back and to my surprise the CSR said: "What Iphone order?" She said you never ordered an Iphone.I said no that I had ordered the phone and it was implied I was lying. So I said ok,you know let's place a new order right now...I went through all the stuff blah blah blah then was put on hold. She then came back and said sorry sir,due to a popular demand we are out of Iphones until the next week.I said fuck you bitch and hang up the phone. I called back and talked to another CSR who told me the same BS:"due to a popular demand we are out of Iphones until the next week" and I replied I was just placing and order with another CSR and the phone cut off and that they said it was available. He then put me on hold and came back saying yes the Iphone is available and that I was gonna get it in less than a week.

I mean for all of you out there who want to take an alternative action, a collective one instead of going to a court of law.
