I was on my way to Grouse for some Christmas eve boarding and the bus got stuck.
Hitched a ride with a local and even though his tires had chains the car didn't make it. Ended up walking the last 500 meters but in the end I got there and enjoyed the 100 new cm that Grouse received since my last visit 5 days earlier.
Some interesting photos. Thanks. Glad it is warming. The ice on top of the snow has been a significant hazard. Was walking a few days ago at Commercial and Napier and a lady (about age 35) slipped, fell and broke her ankle. Called 911 and wow, even with the poor road conditions, the fire dept. crew were there in about four minutes. Comforted her as best I could until then. Even though this was a relatively minor injury it is too bad how those couple of seconds when she slipped will mean weeks in a cast. Take care,
