SHARING A FEW THINGS ABOUT HEALTH
By Glenn on January 4, 2009 - 2:14pm
Hello everyone who reads this, my first ever blog. Hey,I find it comical that the spell check is telling me blog is misspelled. Oh well.
I have spent many years focusing on good health. As any of my friends would tell you, I am passionate about sharing what I know. This includes my knowledge and insights on: nutrition, exercise, stress reduction & homeopathic medicine. Putting all I have on these subject would make this blog far too long. However, for those that would like to know more, I have a great deal of information available on any of the above topics and will happily share it on request. One small personal note: I used to date a nutritionist and after eating healthy foods for a few months my eye color changed from hazel to blue. Did not even know that could happen.
Now my latest passion in this area is my recent exposure to the existence of a kitchen device to produce both alkaline and acidic water from ordinary tap water. For whatever reason, I had not known of these devices until a few weeks ago. The claims of dramatic improvement in health from drinking alkaline water were amazing but since the source was a nutritionist I know and trust I followed up. For legal reasons all the health people I talked to said they can't proclaim that alkaline water prevents or cures disease, then the all went all to tell my all the things they are confident about in that regard. Think of the things we fear most and they tell me that alkaline water will keep or make us well. When I talked to a leading natural health professional in this city they added that the benefits include clearing free radicals from the body. Doing this from the inside out means it will be provide significant anti-aging benefits. Woohooo!! They also told me of all the devices available which is the most effective.
One last thing for now. By now we have all heard of the benefits of exercise. I have been doing hot yoga for quite a while now. I used to train intensively for various athletic endeavors and my personal opinion is that the yoga is better for all round health than any training I ever did.
Hey, I said one last thing and then realized that since taking vacations is part of keeping healthy I would mention that I recently joined the most amazing vacation club (not a time share). More on that another time. Cheers all and if anyone wants more info feel free to email me at royals888@rocketmail.com
