More heavy metal in Gastown. This photo is of a Terex machine which is renovating the Gastown Parkade. Underneath the Gastown Parkade, will be the Storyeum ("A live storytelling experience about the spectacular history of BC set in a new underground theatre in Vancouver's Gastown District") which is scheduled (incredibly because it appears to be a long way from completion) to open on June 1st.

Gas is 98.5 cents a litre in many parts of Vancouver. Ouch! Especially for those with gas guzzling SUVs. Cars will not go away but once gas goes above a buck a litre, we will see more and more people turning to hybrids, alternative fuels and hydrogen powered vehicles. And hopefully maybe even walking more.

Looks like there was some sort of accident.
These grow rampant on the shore of False Creek - or would that be the "bed" of False Creek? So difficult to say with a false creek.
