The BC Browncoats present the third annual charity screening of the movie "Serenity" to benefit Equality Now. This year a percentage of the net proceeds will also be donated to the BC Women's Hospital & Health Centre.
Join us on Sunday, June 22nd, from 11 am to 6 pm at The Norm Theatre, Student Union Building, UBC, for a full day of fun activities for everyone, including a costume contest, door prizes, sing-along filking, a videotaped message from Jewel Staite (one of the stars of the film), and a Silent Auction, culminating with the screening of "Serenity". Donate your old car to charity at Zipcar's "Drive-In, Don't Drive-Out" free screening of the film "Arctic Tale". Donors receive a lifetime membership to Zipcar, along with a $500 Zipcar driving credit. Funds raised will go directly to Vancouver based charity BEST.
