Fat City Swing strives to foster a sense of community while proliferating swing music and dance by creating a haven for the young and the young at heart, combining swing dance instruction and quality live entertainment with style and panache. Fat City’s is a bonafide entertainment alternative attracting some of Vancouver’s most prominent Swing, Jazz, and Rockabilly talent. Weekly dances at the West Langley Hall have garnered enthusiasts from all over the world. Aside from live music and dance, Fat City Swing also offers workshops in other styles of swing, namely, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, and the Shim Sham.
